Folkdancer 27 "Tiffane"
We found "Tiffane" on a trip up to Bangor in Wales, while looking at another boat for sale. The other boat turned out to be a mess, so we wandered around a nearby boatyard (Dickies) to pass the time, and came across her. I thought she looked very pretty, so made some enquiries. After a survey that made me think twice, we offered half the asking price, and after some umming and arring from the owner, bought Tiffane.
It's taken a lot of time and effort, not to mention a couple of nasty surprises (don't talk to me about bilge pumps, re-plumbing heads or the cost of engine exhaust hose (!) ), but we're getting there. I've certainly given up on setting deadlines, it will be done when it's done, but it's all great experience and I know her inside out now!
I'm looking forward to launch day more and more!
